Both local associations and informal citizens associations from Serbia may apply for the “Active Communities” programme of the Trag Foundation; the maximum budget is RSD 350.000.

The initiatives should be related to the local community, encouraging active citizen involvement, and bringing wider benefit to the local community while utilising local potentials and resources as well as cooperation with other sectors on the local level. The programme is not themed so project proposals can refer to various areas: culture, ethnic tolerance and cooperation, work with children and the youth, inter-generational cooperation, environmental protection, citizen participation in the decision-making process, aid for vulnerable groups and their inclusion, etc.

This time, special attention will be given to the projects whose activities are focused on children without parental care.

The new deadline for the submission of project proposals is 5 pm on September 30, 2016.
