Serbia is the first country in the Wester Balkans region with the National Corporate Social Responsibility Index (CSR Index); this was the main conclusion of the seventh CSR Forum. This year’s CSR Forum was held on December 8, it was organised by the Responsible Business Forum, and it gathered all relevant representatives from public institutions, companies, as well as distinguished international guests.
“We are very proud of the fact that today we can see the results of the first cycle of indexing on the national platform for assessing the social responsibility performance because this platform is based on objective indicators. On one hand this initiative provides us with an insight into the level of development of corporate social responsibility in Serbia, and on the other, it provides the opportunity for companies to identify their strengths and weaknesses, in order to be able to improve their business based on the principles of sustainability”, said Neven Marinović, the executive director of the Responsible Business Forum and Smart Kolektiv.
