The National Employment Service was awarded a grant from the EU-IPA 2012 programme at a value of EUR 6.5 million, in order to help the more efficient employment of socially vulnerable groups in Serbia, particularly the Roma.
The funds will be at the disposal of the National Employment Service, local employment councils and local self-governments, as well as categories of unemployed that will be covered by the trainings and the needs of the labour market (unemployed with no or low qualifications, youth without or with low qualifications, long-term unemployed, rural population, and Roma). The final beneficiaries of the project are unemployed persons.
