Foundation for the Advancement of Economics (FREN), in cooperation with ten partners from different European countries, initiated the research project “Enabling the Flourishing and Evolution of Social Entrepreneurship for Innovative and Inclusive Societies.” The project has four primary objectives: to explain the evolution of social entrepreneurship in Europe, to identify conditions under which social entrepreneurship can contribute efficiently and effectively to build an inclusive and innovative society, to identify the “New Generation” of social entrepreneurs, and, the fourth, to provide advice to stakeholders.
In order to achieve the objectives at the national level, FREN will conduct extensive research in the territory of Serbia.
The project is designed for policy makers at the EU, national and local levels, financial institutions and other organisations such as associations of entrepreneurs and local development agencies.
The project has been implemented since February of 2014 and funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) in the duration of three years.
