On December 6, 2016, the Office for Human and Minority Rights of the Republic of Serbia and the Roma Women’s Centre “BIBIJA” organised a round-table on the subject of society’s response to violence against women, with the special focus on the violence suffered by Roma women.
This event was organised as one of the activities of the Roma Women’s centre “BIBIJA” which were included in the “16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women” campaign. The name of the round-table was also the name of the campaign – “Speak out – Fight against Violence”.
The round-table was supported by CARE International Balkans and the Austrian Development Agency through the regional project “Active Inclusion and the Rights of Roma Women in the Wester Balkans II” in partnership with “Romani Cikna” from Kruševac, “Law Scanner” from Belgrade, and Roma Women’s Centre “Veliki Crljeni” from Lazarevac.
