Hendi Center “Koloseum” presented the Belgrade International Film Festival for and by People with Disabilities – BOSIFEST within the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development stand at the Book, Education, and Media Fare.
The Director of BOSIFEST, Darko Ivić spoke about how important the media was for inclusion of persons with disabilities. Dragomir Petronijević, a member of the City Council, addressed the audience, while Draženko Mitrović, a prominent Paralympic athlete, talked about his road to success and how his disability did not prevent him in achieving his dreams. Hendi Center “Koloseum” also organised the promotion of the book “Kikica’s view of the World” written by Anđela Dimitrijević, a fourth-grade student of the “Vojvoda Stepa” primary school.
Primary and secondary school students who attended the promotion had the opportunity to see the Spanish animated film “Ropes”, as well as documentaries “I have a disability”, “The Sun is Far Away” and “We are not alone”. The students from the Secondary School for Dental Technicians, who attended the recently held eighth BOSIFEST in the Sava Centre, read the best papers from a written assignment on the topic “Documentary and its Echo”.
