On 28 July, the Australian Ambassador to Serbia Julia Feeney and the American Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott, as well as the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Zoran Đorđević visited the social enterprise from Belgrade whose profit is used to fund the support programme for victims of human trafficking.
The “Bagel Bejgl” social enterprise was established by the NGO Atina which advocates the rights of victims of trafficking and other forms of exploitation. All profits of this company are spent on protecting victims of human trafficking, as well as for their training and education.
The reason for this visit was the celebration of the World Day against Trafficking in Persons marked on 30 July.
