“Trag” Foundation is announcing the beginning of the competition for the tenth consecutive VIRTUS award for philanthropy. The VIRTUS award is given in cooperation with the European Union, Balkan Trust for Democracy, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
This year also, the competition for the VIRTUS award is opened for nominations in four different categories for corporate philanthropy and one category for the individual contribution to philanthropy.
Award nominees can be proposed by all interested citizens, non-profit organisations, the media, PR agencies and marketing agencies, and also by companies and enterprises which implement corporate philanthropy programmes.
VIRTUS award for 2016 will be given for five main categories:
- Main Award for contribution at the national level
- Award for contribution to the local community in which the company operates
- Award for small and medium-sized enterprises
- Long-term Partnership Award between business and civil sector
- Award for the individual contribution to philanthropy
The application for the tenth-anniversary competition started on October 10, and it will last until November 17, 2016.
