Seventeen entrepreneurs, as well as micro and small enterprises from the South East and South West of Serbia will advance their production and open new workplaces with the support of the European Union and the Government of Switzerland which, via the development programme called European PROGRES, allocated 253.880 Euros for this activity, directed towards the increase in competitiveness of local economy.
Entrepreneurs, micro and small enterprises dealing with the production of food and clothes, metal products, wood processing or engineering activities will obtain equipment via European PROGRES or will be provided with advisory services which will contribute to greater production, market expansion and introduction of eco or technological innovations.
During the duration of the public call for advancing competitiveness in the private sector, European PROGRES organized 20 info sessions gathering nearly 300 participants as well as training in business plan writing. One of the preconditions for the project selection was also willingness of entrepreneurs to create and conduct socially responsible activities which should contribute to the wider community.
The list of approved projects is available at the web site European PROGRESS.
