The Youth Umbrella Organization of Serbia and Belgrade Open School, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, presented the concept of the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation to the public, institutions and civil society organizations, at the conference “Towards Programmes by the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation”, held to mark the founding of the Office.
Addressing the media, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports Snežana Klašnja recalled that the process of founding the Office, the so-called Berlin Process, was initiated in 2014 at the Summit of Western Balkans Leaders, and added that the working group for its preparation, consisting of representatives of institutions competent for youth issues and representatives of the youth sector, produced the draft statute, guidelines and all documents required for its founding, and expressed the expectation that by the next summit of Western Balkans country leaders in Paris on 4 July the agreement will be prepared.
