United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) invites civil society organizations to submit their project proposals during the proposal window open until December 31, 2015.

UNDEF supports projects that empower civil society, promote human rights and encourage the participation of citizens in democratic processes. Civil society organizations can apply with two-year projects proposals in the following fields: Community Activism, Rule of Law and Human Rights, Empowerment of Women, Youth Inclusion, Raising the Capacities of Civil Society Organizations for Interaction with the Government, the Media and Freedom of Information. UNDEF will award grants of up to USD 300.000 to selected projects.
