Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

The team for the European social innovation competitions announced the winners of the social innovation competition! Among the 1095 applications from 36 countries the three best projects have been selected – CUCULA from Germany, the Triangle of Virtuosity from Turkey and the project Machine – To Be Other from Spain. The winners were awarded EUR 50 000 each at the award ceremony in Brussels, while all ten finalists have presented their ideas for the integration of refugees and migrants in Europe.

In addition to the award winners with solutions for refugees, a fourth “Influence Award” to the amount of EUR 50 000 was awarded to the French social enterprise combating food waste “Love Your Leftovers”. This enterprise was a semi-finalist in the 2015 competition and has been making a very important impact since.
