In order to spur economic development in two municipalities in the south of Serbia ranked as the most underdeveloped, 27 women from Vlasotince and Crna Trava founded an Association of Vlasina Lake Housewives. The women invloved their families and started collective fruit picking and baking activities.
They opened a small production plant in the village of Gradska thanks to the Norway grant of USD 57,000 and the support of the Peacebuilding and Inclusive Local Development Programme in South Serbia (PBILD) in cooperation with the municipalities Crna Trava and Vlasotince.
