Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

The Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs published a call for consultations regarding the development of the draft Social Welfare Strategy 2019-2025, in accordance with the Law on the Planning System (Article 34). The consultations lasted until 15 May 2019.

The Social Welfare Strategy is a national sectoral strategy (Article 12 of the Law on the Planning System) and represents a social agreement on the development of social protection policies in the coming mid-term period. The Social Welfare Strategy responds to the needs of society and defines directions for the further development of social welfare strategies, and for a more effective and efficient link between social welfare policies and national development priorities, as well as other sectors.

The process of drafting the Social Welfare Strategy 2019-2025 was started on 20 April 2018 at the National Conference held in Belgrade, support by the project Support to the Development of Regulatory Mechanisms for Social Welfare, financed by the European Union through the IPA 2013 financial instrument.

Information on the results of consultations implemented under the process of drafting the Social Welfare Strategy 20192-205 will be published by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, in accordance with Article 34 of the Law on the Planning System.
