The Government of the Republic of Serbia, at its session held on 28 March 2019, adopted the Third Periodic Report of the Republic of Serbia on the Implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

The Third Periodic Report on the Implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment is to be submitted by the Republic of Serbia to the UN Committee against Torture by 15 May 2019.

The Committee against Torture has thus far deliberated on two periodic reports on the implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, namely: the Initial Report at the 41^st session of the Committee on 5 and 6 November 2008 and the Second Periodic Report at the 54^th session of the Committee on 29 and 30 April 2015.
