The Guidelines for the Appropriate Presentation of National Minorities in Curricula and Textbooks in the Republic of Serbia have been presented on 10 April in Belgrade, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Council of Europe.
The Guidelines were produced as part of the project “Strengthening the Protection of National Minorities in Serbia”, implemented by the Council of Europe and the European Commission in cooperation with line ministries.
In addition to representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the event was attended by representatives of the Council of Europe, EU Delegation and national councils of national minorities, publishers, the Organization for European Security and Cooperation, Centre for Low-Circulation Textbooks, Pedagogical Institute of Vojvodina, Institute for the Improvement of Education.
