Norway for You: Development Support to Business Beginners and Existing Enterprises through Procurement of Equipment and Introduction of Services (Deadline: 10/7/2019)

Norveška za vas - logoThe public call “Development Support to Business Beginners and Existing Enterprises through Procurement of Equipment and Introduction of Services” was issued as part of the project “Support of the Kingdom of Norway for the Development of Western Balkans – Norway for You – Serbia”.

The goal of the public call is to contribute to a more balanced social-economic development in Serbia through increasing employment opportunities and support for social cohesion in underdeveloped areas, with expected improvements to the business operations of existing enterprises and the establishment of new business entities, as well as the opening of at least 70 new jobs.

Who is eligible?

Business beginners and existing enterprises from 91 local self-governments covered by the project: Aleksinac, Alibunar, Babušnica, Bač, Bajina Bašta, Batočina, Bela Crkva, Bela Palanka, Blace, Bogatić, Bojnik, Boljevac, Bosilegrad, Brus, Bujanovac, Crna Trava, Čoka, Ćićevac, Ćuprija, Despotovac, Dimitrovgrad, Doljevac, Gadžin Han, Golubac, Irig, Ivanjica, Kladovo, Knić, Knjaževac, Koceljeva, Kovačica, Kovin, Kraljevo, Krupanj, Kučevo, Kuršumlija, Lebane, Leskovac, Loznica, Lučani, Ljig, Ljubovija, Mali Iđoš, Mali Zvornik, Malo Crniće, Medveđa, Merošina, Mionica, Negotin, Nova Crnja, Nova Varoš, Novi Bečej, Novi Pazar, Odžaci, Opovo, Osečina, Paraćin, Petrovac na Mlavi, Plandište, Preševo, Priboj, Prijepolje, Prokuplje, Raška, Ražanj, Rekovac, Sečanj, Sjenica, Smederevska Palanka, Sokobanja, Srbobran, Surdulica, Svilajnac, Svrljig, Šid, Titel, Trgovište, Trstenik, Tutin, Ub, Varvarin, Velika Plana, Veliko Gradište, Vladičin Han, Vladimirci, Vlasotince, Žabalj, Žabari, Žagubica, Žitište, Žitorađa.

Project duration and value

The total call budget is USD 798,000.

  • LOT 1: Support for business beginners – the indicative total amount of available funds is USD 399,000 (in RSD). The maximum value per grant is USD 11,400 (in RSD).
  • LOT 2: Support for the improvement of the productivity of existing enterprises and opening of new jobs – the indicative total amount of available funds is USD 399,000 (in RSD). The maximum value per grant is USD 11,400 (in RSD).

All projects that receive financial support shall last at most 12 months.

The project “Support of the Kingdom of Norway for the Development of Western Balkans – Norway for You – Serbia” is a two-year project financed by the Kingdom of Norway, implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). The goal of the project is to contribute to a more balanced social-economic development in Serbia through increasing employment opportunities, providing support for social cohesion and improving local infrastructure in underdeveloped areas. Particular attention will be given to the inclusion of youth, women and vulnerable groups in the labour market. The project will also contribute to establishing an information security framework for e-Government in Serbia. The project is designed to be implemented within the territory of underdeveloped areas in Serbia, in a total of 91 local self-governments that belong to the third and fourth development group.
