State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Željko Ožegović opened the first consultative meeting of the Special Interministerial Group for Drafting the Second Action Plan for 2016-2017 and the implementation of the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Open Governance Partnership initiative, on 8 February. In addition to representatives of public authorities, the meeting was attended by representatives of civil society organizations.

The Report on the Implementation of the First Action Plan for implementing the Open Governance Partnership initiative in the Republic of Serbia emphasizes a high degree of success in the implementation of the Action Plan, recommending greater attention during the next phase for including the local self-government level and a more active cooperation of the competent ministry with civil society organizations.
