The Youth Employment Promotion project is being implemented with the aim of providing support to youth employment as part of the German-Serbian development cooperation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, by the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The goal of the programme is to empower companies directly contributing to youth employment and thus stimulate a further decrease of unemployment among this social group.
The programme provides an opportunity for companies to receive strategic consulting support in the development and improvement of doing business through working with experienced business consultants and entrepreneurs, to develop cooperation with GIZ and connect with similar companies in Serbia.
The call is being implemented in cooperation with Smart Kolektiv, providing support in the process of selection of companies to receive support.
The programme is intended for social enterprises employing young people (18-35 years), employing and engaging youth from vulnerable groups, or contributing to youth employment through their activities.
Social enterprises are considered to be legal persons producing goods or providing services in the market, in an entrepreneurial and innovative way, and having a positive impact on society.
What the companies gain under the programme:
- Comprehensive analysis of doing business and company capacities, identification of key problems in doing business, support in defining the goals of strategic development of a company and a plan of consulting support that will provide for stable growth and maximization of company income;
- Long-term and strategic support by business consultants with experience in higher tiers of management in corporate environments or success in running their own business;
- Option to apply for the procurement of basic and working capital necessary for the development of business operations (equipment, tools, raw materials, etc.);
- Opportunity to network with similar companies in Serbia.
