The European Commission published the Progress Report for Serbia for 2016. As noted in the introductory part of the Report, Serbia remains committed to its strategic goal of EU membership, further implementing the Stabilization and Association Agreement. Serbia is said to be implementing ambitious political and economic reforms, and the constructive role in regional cooperation has been noted, along with its management of the migrant crisis. Likewise, Serbia was assessed as remaining committed to the normalization of relations with Kosovo.
