Call for Submission of Comments to the Draft Report on the Implementation of the UNESCO Convention and Recommendations against Discrimination in Education

student - ilustracijaThe Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of the Republic of Serbia invite all interested representatives of educational institutions, civil society organizations, professional associations, international organizations, independent regulatory bodies and other relevant institutions and organizations to participate in the consultative process and submit their comments and suggestions to the draft Report of the Republic of Serbia on the Implementation of the UNESCO Convention and Recommendations against Discrimination in Education for 2012-2015.

This national periodic report should cover the main achievements and results for the reporting period of 2012-2015 in the field of combating discrimination in education, in accordance with the Guidelines for the Preparation of National Reports (the English language document can be found in the appendix).

Your contributions are extremely important, therefore we kindly ask you to send in very specific and precise proposals and suggestions for amending the Report, with references.

Upon the expiry of the deadline for submitting your comments and suggestions, the draft Report will be improved and adopted by the competent Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, translated and submitted within the prescribed deadline, by 30 June 2016.

The deadline for the submission of comments and suggestions is 12 June 2016. We kindly request that you send your comments only on the relevant form provided in the appendix, to the address: jasminka.perunicic@mpn.gov.rs, with the subject: For the UNESCO Report.
