Centre for Social Policy: Public Call for Awarding Self-Employment Grants (Deadline: 9/12/2016)

csp_logoBased on the Contract on the Provision of Services for the project “Support to Municipalities for Improving Social Inclusion through the Employment of Vulnerable and Marginalized Groups” financed by the European Union, the Government of Switzerland and the Government of the Republic of Serbia working through the European PROGRES programme, the Centre for Social Policy in cooperation with the Education Centre is publishing a PUBLIC CALL for awarding self-employment grants with the aim of economic empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized groups within the territory of the following local self-governments: Aleksinac, Babušnica, Bela Palanka, Blace, Brus, Bojnik, Bosilegrad, Bujanovac, Crna Trava, Doljevac, Gadžin Han, Ivanjica, Knjaževac, Kuršumlija, Lebane, Leskovac, Medveđa, Merošina, Novi Pazar, Nova Varoš, Piboj, Prijepolje, Preševo, Prokuplje, Raška, Sjenica, Surdulica, Svrljig, Trgovište, Tutin, Vladičin Han, Vlasotince, Vranje, Žitorađa.

Self-employment grant funds are intended solely for unemployed persons registered with the unemployment record of the National Employment Service belonging to the category of difficult-to-employ persons.

Self-employment grants in equipment are awarded to unemployed persons with the best business plans, to the amount of EUR 3,000.00, with the value in dinars on the date of procurement of equipment required to start working. The total budget for awarding grants is EUR 81,000.00.

Information days will be organized with the aim of informing all interested candidates, and additional consultant support will be provided for preparing applications for creating business plans.

The call will be open until Friday, 9 December 2016.
