Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

Youth with Disabilities Forum has organized the event “Establishing a platform for the employment of persons with disabilities”, held on 25 June 2021 at the Holiday Inn hotel in Belgrade. The event was organized with the aim of introducing the general public to the Platform for the employment of persons with disabilities, representing a unique community aiming for strategic support to employers when employing persons with disabilities.

As part of the project “Support for employers for increasing the employability of youth with disabilities”, the Youth with Disabilities Forum initiated a Platform for the employment of persons with disabilities in early 2021, as an informal network of employers, to provide strategic support for the long-term and sustainable employment of persons with disabilities. The platform serves as a place for gathering, counselling, informing, consultation, and raising the capacities of domestic and international companies, as well as other stakeholders operating within the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The event was also an occasion to express gratitude to all associates, partners and donors of the project, particularly companies deciding to be part of the community of equal opportunities, knowledge and practice.

The project “Support to employers for increasing the employability of youth with disabilities” is being implemented under the second phase of the project “From Education to Employment” (Е2Е), supported by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in partnership with the line ministries.
