The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Commission signed financial agreements to an amount of EUR 1.6 million for cross-border cooperation programmes where Serbia participates with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The agreements were signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia by the Minister without Portfolio in charge of European Integration and the National IPA Coordinator Jadranka Joksimović, and on behalf of the European Commission, Jean-Eric Paquet, director of the Directorate General for Enlargement.
Calls for collecting cross-border projects will be issued at the end of the current and during early next year, with these financial funds comprising part of the relevant funds. The funds will contribute to even more successful cooperation with neighbouring countries, and we expect that forthcoming calls will result in applications by quality project proposals, as was the case under the previous two calls.
