The Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe NALAS is organising an online training on the subject “Introduction to Gender Mainstreaming at Local Level” which will take place from 6 November until 4 December 2017.

The main objective of the training, which is aimed at decision makers and administrative staff at the local level, is to enable them to act both as individuals, and as representatives of organisations working for gender equality. The training is being organised with the purpose of raising awareness about the fact that gender is not only personal, but an institutional and structural issue, and therefore should be considered in local policies.
