At the initiative of the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit, a meeting was organised in October, where municipal authorities presented examples of good practices under the topic “e-Administration at the Service of Society and Economy”. The exchange of experiences and good practices should contribute to social inclusion and poverty reduction at the local level.

Based on the conclusions of the meeting, the National Democratic Institute will support about a dozen municipalities over the next 12 months in building their capacities for introduction of e-administration.

The meeting was prepared in cooperation with the National Democratic Institute and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications.
