National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) and Regional Network for Business Friendly Environment in Southeast Europe announced a public call for municipalities in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Serbia to apply for the certification process by regional standards of a business friendly environment.
Certification programme for business friendly environment in Southeast Europe (SEE BFC) is a unique regional program which aims to improve the competitiveness of municipalities.
This programme encourages municipalities and cities to attract investments and develop local economies, by using their own capacities and making a strategic decision to improve business environment.
Certified municipalities are positioned among the most advanced in the region and qualify for the support of national and international institutions and donors, with active support to the promotion.
The deadline for submitting applications for certification expired on 1 June 2014.
