An award competition was opened for research papers regarding cross-border cooperation between beneficiary countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Montenegro and Serbia), as part of the second phase of the project for strengthening the capacities of institutions for cross-border cooperation (CBIB+), with funds allocated from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 2007-2013).
Other than the awards, the three best papers will be published at the expense of the second phase of the CBIB+ project in scientific journals issued in the countries of origin of their authors, who will be invited to participate in the Regional Consultative Forum to present their papers.

The deadline for the submission of papers is midnight 23 January 2017, Central-European Time.
