DEADLINE EXTENDED: The deadline for submission of social housing and active inclusion project proposals has been extended to 12 February 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
The European Union and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), through the “EU Support to Social Housing and Active Inclusion” programme, are announcing an open call to local self-governments to submit proposals for social housing and active inclusion projects.
The goal of this open call is to provide housing support for 500 families with at least 1,500 members in a sustainable and responsible way, through the construction of multi-family buildings and family houses, and the purchase, reconstruction and adaptation of apartments and houses. Complementary active inclusion measures for 1,000 beneficiaries will be mandatory, and they include support in the field of education, improvement of employability, self-employment and access to various social protection services.
Eligibility: All local self-government units in the Republic of Serbia have the right to participate.
Indicative budget of the open call: EUR 14.2 million
Deadline for submitting project proposals: February 12, 2021 at 5 p.m.

Application: Project proposals are sent electronically, and detailed instructions for submission can be found in the EUSHAI_CfP_Guidelines for Applicants document.
All interested local self-government units will be able to receive answers to questions about the open call at online information sessions, which will be organized in the following terms:
- Monday, December 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
- Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
- Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.

About the Programme: This open call is announced within the program “European Union Support to Social Housing and Active Inclusion”, for which the European Union has allocated 27 million euros. The program is implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in partnership with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, and in cooperation with the Ministry of European Integration.
