The National Agency for Regional Development is publishing a Public Call for Support to Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) Projects through Financing the Participation of Applicants/Partners.
The goal of the programme is support to institutions and organizations from Serbia in applying for cross-border cooperation programmes and thus strengthening regional competitiveness through the implementation of joint projects, as well as institutional sustainability in the creation and implementation of projects. Cross-border cooperation programmes are a European Union instrument to provide support to the cooperation of institutions and organizations in border areas of neighbouring states.
The National Agency prepared the Programme of Support to Cross-Border Cooperation Projects in the form of co-financing for the participation (contributions) of project partners from Serbia. This encompasses six cross-border cooperation programmes from the financial period (perspective) 2014-2020, namely:
- Hungary-Serbia,
- Romania-Serbia,
- Bulgaria-Serbia,
- Croatia-Serbia,
- Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- Serbia-Montenegro.
A project (proposed for co-financing) should be aimed at achieving specific goals, including: strengthening SMEE competitiveness; creating and maintaining existing workplaces; improving the capacities of SMEE for access to various sources of financing; improvement of workforce quality; support to the development of entrepreneurial education; strengthening innovativeness in SMEE; stimulating business association and the creation of value chains; support to women’s entrepreneurship, youth entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship; support to uniform regional development; promotion of the importance of EU access for the development of SMEE competitiveness, etc.
The total amount of available funds: RSD 45,000,000.
