The Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Serbia Dušan Vujović said that the set of joint conclusions of the financial dialogue between the EU and delegation of Serbia was adopted in Brussels on May 25 emphasizing that the recommendations for Serbia were oriented towards the continuation of implementation of fiscal consolidation measures.
Vujović pointed out that the recommendations also referred to dealing with the status of state enterprises, continuation of the public administration reform and implementation of the Tax Administration transformation programme.
The delegations of the Western Balkan countries and Turkey attended the meeting, organized by the Economic and Financial Affairs Council – ECOFIN. The joint conclusions of the dialogue for the economic and financial affairs were then adopted. Its realization will be monitored jointly in the following period, within the process of accession negotiations and association to the EU.
The representatives of the European Institutions, such as European Commission, European Central Bank and Eurostat also participated in the meeting.
