The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Commission signed a financial agreement which approved €84.8 million from IPA 2014 funds for Serbia. The agreement was signed by Catherine Wendt from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations and Jadranka Joksimović, Minister without portfolio responsible for European Integration and National IPA Coordinator.
In December 2014, the European Commission approved €187.1 million for Serbia after a successfully completed process of preparing the IPA 2014 Programme.The financial agreements for €102.3 million were signed in June 2015.
With this agreement Serbia received the remaining €84.8 million for implementation of projects within the administration reform, competitiveness, energy, interior affairs and employment sectors.
