Ten single mothers from five cities across Serbia obtained grants for starting and/or expanding their own business through the project “Strengthening Human Rights and Economic Empowerment of Single Mothers in Serbia”, implemented by the Ana i Vlade Divac Foundation in partnership with the Jelek Association, and financed by the European Union through the EIDHR programme.
In addition to the funds for purchasing the required equipment, work materials and additional education and training, these ten single mothers were also provided by the project with mentoring support by a business consultant who will work with them in developing their business ideas, creating and implementing business plans.
