The Support to Civil Society and the Media in the Field of European Integration Programme (Deadline: 20/8/2017)

BOŠ - logoBelgrade Open School (BOS), with the support of the Kingdom of Sweden, invites civil society organisations (CSO) and the media to apply for participation in the Support to Civil Society and the Media in the Field of European Integration Programme (Programme). This is the second Call for Project Proposals within the Programme. Detailed information about the Programme and the activities which have been implemented so far can be found at www.transformator.bos.rs.

The Programme is being implemented within the “Civil Society as a Force for a Change in Serbia’s EU Accession Process”, and it includes two programme activities: 1. The Support to projects and partner civil society organisations and the media; 2. Capacity building and networking programme.

The overall objective of the Programme is to contribute to EU integration and to the democratic development of Serbia based on increased role of civil society and the media.

The specific objectives of the Programme are to: strengthen the civil society with regard to representing the interests of local communities in Serbia’s EU accession process; encourage the democratic influence of the civil society on public authorities; improve practices and quality of public participation in the decision-making process; enhance the quality of public debates and information available to citizens regarding the process of European integration.

The Support to projects and partner civil society organisations and the media envisages the direct financial support and it will be implemented through:

  1. Institutional support – support available for four CSOs and media;
  2. Project Support – support available for four CSOs and media.

The total Budget for the implementation of the financial support to new civil society organisations and the media for this Call is 1,400,000 SEK.

The deadline for submitting Project proposals is Sunday, 20 August 23.59h. The submission of project proposals can only be done electronically by using the www.transformator.bos.rs online platform.
