Since 17 April, Channel 2 of the National Broadcaster started broadcasting programme with the Serbian sign language translation.
Every Sunday at 10 am one half-hour programme from the current news-documentary division and one from the overall offer of the National Broadcaster will be adapted to the needs of deaf and hard of hearing persons who use sign language.
This innovation is the result of the successful collaboration between the Serbian Association of Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Serbian National Broadcaster, and it represents one step further towards the realization of a more accessible television programme in the future.
