The International Cooperative Alliance – with the scientific and technical support of the European Research Institute for Cooperatives and Social Enterprises (EURICSE) – presents the World Cooperative Monitor 2015.
This report is drafted by a team of EURICSE researchers, with the scientific support of a committee of international experts and scientists, as well as the support of organizational partners – “Fundación Espriu” and “OCB System”.
The report studies cooperatives worldwide, from 76 specific countries, and includes the largest number of organizations ever. The first 300 of these cooperatives have been ranked based on capital turnover, as well as the ratio of capital turnover and gross domestic product (GDP) per capita and the ratio of capital turnover against the purchasing power of the country wherein the cooperative operates.
