On July 11, young people without parental care had the opportunity to meet with potential employers at the Introduce Yourself event, held at the City Assembly of Niš. Within the same event, members of the local business sector—in addition to getting to know the candidates—used the occasion to learn all about subsidies and the importance of hiring people from this group.
Introduce Yourself is part of the Hold Your Own project, which aims to help young people without parental care and children of soldiers killed in combat, and it is implemented by the Join In Foundation and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs, with general sponsorship from Vojvođanska banka and support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
A major contribution has been made also by the National Employment Service, which has recently started to promote employment of young people without parental care in the private sector.
