Citizens of Serbia are unsatisfied with their life and economic circumstances compared to EU citizens, while both are most worried about unemployment, indicate the results of European Commission’s Eurobarometer survey, published in December.
Citizens of Serbia are divided over whether the economic circumstances will change for the better or worse during the next 12 months. Most believe their lives will not change during this period, but nearly a third expects they will improve, making them greater optimists than EU citizens, who mostly believe their lives will not change during the next 12 months.
The citizens of Serbia are, likewise, more supportive of EU expansion than Union citizens, the autumn Eurobarometer shows.
