Contracts on awarding funds in accordance with the public call for financing, and/or cofinancing measures, activities and programmes in the field of social protection in 2015, with 38,000,000.00 dinars earmarked, were signed on 12 August in the Children’s Village “Dr Milorad Pavlović” in Sremska Kamenica.
The money was earmarked by this call for the implementation of programmes, namely for daily services in the community, support services for independent living, counselling-therapy and social-educational services and the improvement of conditions for providing accommodation services.
The above social protection services meet the specific needs of beneficiaries, primarily children and youth without parental care or under risk of losing parental care, children with development difficulties, in conflict with parents, caretakers and community, victims of abuse and neglect, violence and exploitation and victims of human trafficking, as well as adults and the elderly whose welfare, safety and productive life in the community are endangered by risks due to age, disability, illness, family and other circumstances of life.
