Winner of the “Rainbow” award for 2013/14 has been Tanja Miščević, Head of the Negotiating Team for the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union.
The “Rainbow” award was established by the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), and it has been awarded as of last year, through a public competition, on the occasion of 17 May – the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, for contributions in the fight against homophobia and transphobia and protection and improvement of human rights of LGBT people in Serbia.
The award was handed over to Tanja Miščević by the representative of the last year’s winner –the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 9 June at the ceremony in the City Assembly of Belgrade.
